Our campervan could be started without problem today ! We took our adopted Lhasa Apso “BHALU” to a veterinarian clinic for check-up and to check mail at the Poste Restante.

We drove to the seaside nearby and parked at JUHU Beach. It was a nice day for cleaning and relaxing.

We spent the day in sightseeing BOMBAY / MUMBAI. The condition of our campervan was worsening every day. We had to take it back to a garage to have it repaired, for we paid about RS. 300.-.

193) FRIDAY, 6 JANUARY 1978 : 197KMS - BOMBAY / MUMBAI.

We arrived BOMBAY in the afternoon. The city looks modern as there are buildings of western architecture as well as people dressing in western style clothes. There are also many tourists. I saw many ships, anchored in the sea filling fresh water tanks from pipeline.

Our journey today continued from DAULATABAD along the road up and down the mountain. We stopped to take a photo of a nice single mountain on the way and a strange big tree.
