NOVEMBER 1977 : 0KMS. - NEW DELHI
We went to check mails again and left a note at the American Express for Rudi (Rudolf Bergmeister) and
Martin, our good friends from Stuttgart. They were inspired by our
photos (slides) that we sent via Lex (Marinsa)
for developing in Germany at Rudi’s address. They finally decided to follow our
way.

Many Indians like chewing betel quids, potent parcels of areca nuts, lime and
tobacco wrapped in a betel leaf. I saw many stalls selling ready to chew betel nuts.

NEW DELHI, the capial of India is very crowded or overpopulated. We went to
hang out until late at night and saw many people in the evening. It seems that
they are homeless or they might come from remote rural areas to seek for better
fortune or to find a job, etc. in the city.

These people
just sleep by the roadside and foot path,
they have to face a cold temperature in the middle of the night and
early morning in the winter approaching now.
