DAY 132 - NEW DELHI

132) SUNDAY, 6 NOVEMBER 1977 : 0KMS. - NEW DELHI

Visiting  the RED FORT and the market nearby.  There was  a wide range of products sold in the market, mostly  fabric stores (or fabric market) the same as the well-known fabric market “Pahurat & Sampeng” in Bangkok.

The Red Fort was the residence of the Mughal emperors of India for nearly 200 years, until 1857. It is located in the centre of Delhi and houses a number of museums. Wikipedia

There was traditional Sunday market on the roadside.  Lots of people came to purchase everything they needed.  Many bicycles and  horse carriages, rickshaws and buses  were moving along on the same road
